I Menimals sono una band Psych Drone che si distingue nella scena della “nuova psichedelia per un approccio improvvisativo di derivazione kraut-rock, una forte componente ambient ed un'attitudine sperimentale che si riflette anche nel look e nei concerti.

Uno show dei Menimals non è solo un concerto, ma una performance psichedelica in cui i quattro rompono le barriere tra uomo e animale, interagendo col pubblico attraverso i suoni e la psichedelia.

Nel gruppo gruppo militano muscisti europei ed americani di cui non è dato sapere l' identità tranne che per Doctor Forge (aka Scott Arbogast aka Rainstick Cowbell).

I quattro componenti fissi del progetto sono la rappresentazione delle caratteristiche dei Solidi Platonici

e degli animali di cui portano le maschere, queste caratteristiche si riflettono nel ruolo musicale dei musicisti:

- Il Ratto - Batteria

Esaedro - Terra - l' elemento più stabile, quello sui cui tutti gli altri strumenti poggiano.

- La Chimera - Basso e seconda chitarra

Icosaedro - Acqua - è complementare alla Terra ed è il più mobile degli elementi.

- Il Grifone - Chiatrre/Elettronica

Ottaedro - Aria - L'Acqua poggia sulla Terra, L' Aria poggia sull' Acqua, vola continuamente tra Melodia e Ruomre.

- Doctor Forge - Voce

Tetraedro - Uomo - Fuoco - l' elemento più mutabile ed imprevedibile, può essere una scintilla o un incendio. E' l' elemento che porta la luce, la lanterna nel buio, colui che mostra il cammino.

I Quattro elementi insieme creano il Dodecaedro, è l' Etere, la Quintessenza, l' elemento più sottile ed incorruttibile, è La Musica.

Menimals is a psych drone band that stands out in the "new psychedelic rock" scene for its improvisational approach of kraut-rock derivation, strong ambient influences, and an experimental attitude that is also reflected in the visual aesthetic and in the live performances.

Menimals offers not just concerts but cinematic events in which they reconnect with the mysticism of nature, breaking the boundary between men and animals, and interacting with the audience through the psychedelia of their soundscapes.

The band's members are from Europe and USA, but their real identity is unknown except for Doctor Forge (aka Scott Arbogast aka Rainstick Cowbell).

The four musicians are the sonic representation of the cosmic beauty and symmetry embodied in the Platonic solids, the classical elements of alchemy, and the symbolic animal spirits whose masks they wear:

- The Rat - Drums

Hexahedron - Earth - The most stable element, the layer on which the other instruments stand.

- The Chimera - Bass/Additional Guitar

Icosahedron - Water - Is complementary to earth and is the most mobile element.

- The Gryphon - Guitar/Production

Octahedron - Air - The water lies on the earth, the air lies in the surface of the water. Constantly flies between melody and noise.

- Doctor Forge - Voice

Tetrahedron - Man - Fire - The most mutable and unpredictable element. It can be a spark or a blaze. It carries the light. It's the lantern in the dark that shows the passageway.

The four Elements together create the Dodecahedron – Aether, void, or quintessence, the most subtle and incorruptible element. The medium of sound, it is inaccessible to all other senses. This is the MUSIC.
