L' album di debutto dei Menimals è appena uscito in Inghilterra per Riot Season ed in Itlia per Phonosphera e la band è pronta a tornare sul palco dopo una pausa di due anni. Il disco è stato accolto entusiasticamente dalla stampa specializzata inglese e i musicisti stanno lavorando alacremente nei laboratori sotterranei del Doctor Forge per portare per poratare dal vivo uno spettacolo che spezzi le barriere tra l' uomo e l' animale, non un semplice concerto ma eventi cinematici in cui i quattro si ricongiungono col Misticismo della Natura.

L’ Album di debutto Menimals (uscito per l' italiana Phonosphera e l' inglese Riot Season) è "una sinfonia dei solidi in cinque movimenti" - un riferimento alle cinque forme che compongono i Solidi Platonici e da cui ciascuno dei Menimals è stato concepito. Dr. Forge, con i polmoni bruciati e le ossa fragili, tesse una storia archetipica del viaggio dell'eroe attraverso le cinque forme legate alla radice elementale simboleggiato da ciascuno dei personaggi dei Menimals. Dal noto all'ignoto, ogni sconosciuto diventa un familiare - uno spirito-creatura mistica che funge da spia e compagno e giullare. Con la musica, l'ascoltatore viene sia confortato che sfidato a trascendere.
Per i Menimals, la melodia è il mezzo per approfondire i misteri del caos e della creazione.
Menimals è una porta attraverso la quale il Dottor Forge e le creature che ha progettate portano i loro messaggi luminosi di mito e rivelazione al mondo. La loro ricerca di derivazione di kraut-rock basata sull’ improvvisazione e con forti influenze ambient riflette una visione sperimentale che si rivela nei testi, nell’ estetica, e nelle ipnotiche esibizioni dal vivo.
I concerti non sono solo spettacoli, ma eventi performativi in cui i Menimals , rompendo il confine tra uomo e animale, e interagendo con il pubblico attraverso la psichedelia dei loro paesaggi sonori, si ricollegano con il misticismo della natura.
Purtroppo gli apparizioni dal vivo sono rare sia a causa dello stato fragile di salute di Dr. Forge sia perché egli vive appartato su un altro tra le montagne del America del Nord, mentre le sue creature si aggirano nelle colline del Nord Italia.
I musicisti mezzi uomo e mezzi animale sono stati specificamente progettati per essere la rappresentazione sonora della bellezza cosmica e la simmetria incarnata nei solidi platonici, i classici elementi alchemici, e i simmbolici spiriti animali di cui indossano le maschere:
- Il Ratto: Batteria / Esaedro / Terra
L'elemento più stabile, il lla base su cui poggiano gli altri strumenti.
- La Chimera: Basso e seconda chitarra / Icosaedro / Acqua
È complementare alla terra ed è l'elemento più mobile.
- Il Grifone: Chitarra e Produzione / Ottaedro / Aria
L'acqua si poggiasulla terra, l'aria sulla superficie dell'acqua. Vola costantemente tra melodia e rumore.
- Dottor Forge: Voce / Tetraedro / Uomo / Fuoco
L'elemento più mutevole e imprevedibile. Può essere una scintilla o una fiammata. Egli porta la luce. E 'la lanterna nel buio che indica la strada.
I quattro elementi insieme creano il dodecaedro - Etere, Nulla o Quintessenza, l'elemento più sottile e incorruttibile. Il mezzo attraverso cui si propaga il suono, è inaccessibile a tutti gli altri sensi. Esso è la musica dei Menimals.
